INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

MLM offers paid internship opportunities that align with the academic calendar. These internships typically run from September through April of each year. Applications are welcome year-round for consideration for the upcoming school term, or in the event that an internship position becomes available sooner.

These are in-person, part-time, hourly positions working under the supervision of a Licensed Architect. The internship is designed to strengthen and expand students’ working knowledge of architectural design and construction documents in a professional practice setting.

Interns will gain valuable real-world experience by working alongside a team of professionals through all phases of a project, from start to finish. Participants can expect opportunities to develop and expand their knowledge of Revit (BIM), contribute to active project work, and receive individualized mentorship from our partners to help set, meet, and exceed personal goals throughout the internship experience.

Applicants are required to be currently enrolled in at least their third year or higher of their Bachelor’s degree. Because of the technical demands of this role, which requires a working knowledge of Revit (BIM), preference and consideration will be given to 4th-year undergraduate students and Master's degree students who have developed the level of software experience needed to contribute to design and construction documents in a professional setting.

Current interns who wish to extend their internship through the summer term may also have the opportunity to do so, based on firm needs and performance.
